Mmmk, so it's been a while once again. But that's because life is pretty boring right now for the most part. I'm back in Ann Arbor for spring semester so all of my time is spent doing the ridiculous load of calc and physics homework I have.

Yesterday was the one year anniversary of Megan and I dating. She makes me really happy, and it's been quite an amazing year. It flew by, and it's hard to believe it's been a whole year already. Unfortunately she had class and I had class, so we couldn't be together, but she's gonna come visit on Thursday =) I love her.

To keep myself amused here, I've started renting a movie per day from the Askwith Media Library. So far I've seen:
Idiocracy- Funny. I didn't really know what to expect going into this movie, so I enjoyed it quite a lot.
Shawshank Redemption- I'd heard a lot of good things about this movie, but for some reason thought it was a horror movie (kinda like when I first watched Edward Scissorhands.) It was a good story, just very long.
Memento- Certainly an interesting movie, it was a change of pace from normal linear movies.
Brazil- I've heard a lot of good things about Brazil, but I didn't really like it that much. It had its moments, and certainly Terry Gilliam is a good director, but it just wasn't my style of movie, for much the same reason I didn't really like Bladerunner.
Fucking Åmål- (English title: Show Me Love) Despite sounding like porn, this was a pretty good movie. It was in Swedish with English subtitles, but I was pleased at how much of it I understood just by listening. It was about a girl grappling with budding lesbianism while being in love with a popular girl at her school. Despite featuring this storyline, several girl-on-girl kissing scenes, implications of both sex and masturbating, and a scene where a girl cuts herself, this movie is rated 11 in Sweden, which means anyone 11 or older can see it. Unrated in America, but I'm sure if they tried it would've been R. Sweden is so much less retarded! But yeah, this movie was pretty good, I'd recommend it for anyone who can deal with subtitles.

My list of movies to rent in the future so far (in no particular order):
Amélie
True Romance
Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead
Gummo
Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance
Let the Right One In
Everything is Illuminated
Reservoir Dogs
The Science of Sleep
Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels
City of God
Cool Hand Luke

And now back to doing physics homework. Wooo.

Aaron Brzozowski told me I should watch Amelie like 3 years ago, but I keep forgetting... lol.

I love Shawshank Redemption.

And I'm happy to hear that things are going well for you and Megan!
